What we do and how we do it so well

Tired of t-shirts that are uncomfortable and don't fit individual personalities, we were searching for something fresh and unique. We finally found what we were looking for but the brands that sold the clothing were high end, exclusive, and expensive. So, with this in mind, we made it our goal to solve this problem as well as others and create a high-end, exclusive, and inexpensive clothing brand that would cater to the consumer. Masculine, Feminine, Black, White, Purple, Green or whatever you want to call it, we are a little bit of everyone and everything. We represent hype beasts, sneaker heads, high society, the fashionable, the jocks, fixie fiends, the British, the world traveler, trend-setters, the consumer and whomever else you can think of. We are a little cocky and we have the vision, but to be in the business of making clothing you have to be a little out there. To put it in perspective...we are not out there, we are right here and we are right now.
Great personal style is made up of a certain percentage of "always" items and methods, mixed with a certain percentage of "sometimes" fashions, and a certain percentage of "nevers". -Scott Schuman

Living Color, Act Two

Here it is. My pride and joy. I've been working (from designing to inking) this design for a good 3 weeks now and it's nearing completion finally. This shirt was done differently than most, I drew the entire thing while listening to music on shuffle from my iTunes. This is my best attempt at making sound, and, to be more specific, music something physical. Although when I first drew this, it was just whatever I felt coming out with no real meaning, I have looked back and realized how each piece feels like a specific type of the music I was listening to. I was going to outline this for you, but decided the entire point of music is interpretation, so I'll let you chew on this for yourself. Hope it's tasty.

Getcha Some

I'm on the hunt....The Manhunt

I'm usually not up to blog on Bape stuff, but now that they have ditched most of their pattern work and have become somewhat of a respectable brand even though they are still over priced, i seem to enjoy their pieces more. Especially their manhunt boots that come in a classic suede option (beige & black) and premium leather (brown & black). Not to mention the manhunt im print on the tongue and the patent "R" on the heel. They look comfy to boot. Haha get it.

I Make Her Say OHHHHH!

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Ladies! We don't mean to neglect you here at Ursa but there is just so much good stuff for you out there that it is hard to sort through. Starting today, I'm going to begin my search an post a little more for our lady readers. Alidra Alichas created an amazing collection; Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Truly whimsical at that. The pieces were inspired by the decorative floral motifs from the romantic period of the 1800s. Alidra invented her own techniques in order to make the jewelry, some of which took as long as six months to complete. Hard work that shows.

Wrap it up

Being an avid photographer myself, it is always great to see fashion and clothing merge. That is what makes Fragment Design so great. Hiroshi Fujiwara is not afraid to delve into the world of other products. I think the reason he does is because he is good at it and is well aware. From concept bike frames, sturdy iPhone cases, and now to Tech-Wrap. Now photographers can feel safe knowing that their camera is covered by a soft, plush neoprene material available in three colors. Of course there is the subtle Fragment branding. Leica M8 not included.

Today Was A Good Day

What skatin' is all about

Original Fake Fall/Winter 2009

There is only one thing I love more than a pouty Emma Watson

And that would have to be Crazy Japanese girls who are obsessed with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) of Harry Potter. Last month, the Japanese television show Sanma Akashiya’s “Karakuri Terebi” held a contest with 10,000 of Japan’s biggest Harry Potter fans for the chance to visit the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. If you know anything about Japan in general, they love to beat, make fun of, and crush dreams for public enjoyment. Not to mention make fun of each other on national television. So of course in typical fashion they chose the most out there and outwardly obsessed fan to send to the UK.

I liked it!

While catching up on some tunes from la radio, I came to a startling conclusion. I was really waiting out some time before I declare a winner, and now is that time. Katy Perry is officially greater than Lady Gaga. Two woman entered, one Katy Perry came out. I'm not sure if anyone else realized, but all Lady Gaga talks about is dick whether it be called a disco stick or a haaawk. Katy perry gives you that variety. She plays for the home team and for the visitors (unfortunately she didn't really kiss a girl). All that aside, lets boil it down to the basics and what really matters. Perry has got the better remixes under the belt with the help of Calvin "I created disco" Harris and Manhattan Clique. Let's be honest ladies and gents, if we could we would get that bass pumping through our veins. So crank up your sound to Turbo Bass and dance till you sweat. Heartbreaker

I wish I could have a 99 cent store love affair only to be disrupted by a prep school graduate wearing Ray Bans

Drawing with light is nothing new

You may think you are ready for art school once you figure out that you can draw with light by using the long exposure on your digital camera you got from the rents. Unfortunately you are not. while this may seem a very "original" idea to base an art career off of, it has been done way before your prime by none other than Picasso in 1949 when LIFE magazine photographer Gjon Mili visited the artist. Now, put that in your pipe and smoke it. Maybe then you will get a genuine idea Art school confidential.
