What we do and how we do it so well

Tired of t-shirts that are uncomfortable and don't fit individual personalities, we were searching for something fresh and unique. We finally found what we were looking for but the brands that sold the clothing were high end, exclusive, and expensive. So, with this in mind, we made it our goal to solve this problem as well as others and create a high-end, exclusive, and inexpensive clothing brand that would cater to the consumer. Masculine, Feminine, Black, White, Purple, Green or whatever you want to call it, we are a little bit of everyone and everything. We represent hype beasts, sneaker heads, high society, the fashionable, the jocks, fixie fiends, the British, the world traveler, trend-setters, the consumer and whomever else you can think of. We are a little cocky and we have the vision, but to be in the business of making clothing you have to be a little out there. To put it in perspective...we are not out there, we are right here and we are right now.
Great personal style is made up of a certain percentage of "always" items and methods, mixed with a certain percentage of "sometimes" fashions, and a certain percentage of "nevers". -Scott Schuman

One from the Puma by Mihara Spring 2009 Collection

This is the MY-41. Very colorful, very bright, but the true detail comes from the second punch. The heel and sole have layers that seemingly "melt" into each other. The colorway reminds me of ice cream on the 4th of July since the colors are overly patriotic. Definitely has the nice detail to back it up.

CSBOOTH16!

With the main Gardener character being Brian this year, CSBOOTH should be exciting. Peep the Hellboy in the shadows. When Michael Lau first created the Brian Gardener figure, he was influenced by his skater friend Brian as well as Mike Mignola's Hellboy character.

In4mation x G-Shock GLX5600 is back once again

After the purple and turquoise versions dropped, In4mation has done it again with an apricot colorway. Lovin' the little details such as the aloha when the watch is back lit. Tres Chique.

Atelier La Durance is simply the best, better than all the rest

As a long time fan of Atelier La Durance I am ashamed that I do not own any of their pieces, or rather masterpieces. If you don't know already, Atelier La Durance has the high end Japanese denim industry on lock. Not only do their luggage pieces tastefully include their premium Japanese denim, but they are also produced by Goyard. Standing before you is their new Weekend Bag available now at Context. Some other of their quality items below.

Dubbed Sette and Otto, Gourmet's two new styles use Italian wrinkled patent leather instead of their signature canvas on the upper. A brave move in a new direction. Keep those eyes opened because they will soon be available at Undefeated, Fred Segal, S+D, Huf and Revolve.

The Purple Label Waist Pack

Not sure you have been up on the direction North Face has taken but they are trying to shy away from the jackets and conquer new ventures. This is where Purple Label steps in with a brand new vibe. The Japan exclusive Purple Label has released waist packs, not to be confused with fanny packs. The waist packs feature a two-tone color scheme (blue/red and navy/yellow), zippered compartments, and snap closure front. I know I want one so that I have an easy place to store my wallet and camera while riding my fixed gear. Available at Deepinsideinc.

Get Ready for Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony has released their 2009 Spring Footwear and boy does it look fresh. They got M6, M2 and M1 Desert Boots as well as saddle shoes and slip-ons in various colors. My personal fav is the two-tone mix of brown suede and blue leather on their saddle shoes show above. Still classic with the blue leather yet adventurous. "Thank God I'm fresh" -Kid Cudi

The Return

So, as you may or may not have noticed, I have not been posting lately. My life has become completely clogged up with problems, classes, and a million other things that have stopped me from serving up fresh shirts to you guys. But, I'm doing my best to get some more designs to the public soon, and I'm making the promise to you that shirts are coming and that those who stay loyal to the bear will be looking fresh in no time.

Choose Wisely

Here are your Fall '09 colors ladies and gents. Choose wisely and spare some color for the rest. Some examples are American Beauty (red - PANTONE 19-1759), Rapture Rose (pink - PANTONE 17-1929) and Warm Olive (green/yellow - Pantone 15-0646). The most popular color with 16.5% of designers integrating it into their collection is Iron (dark gray - PANTONE 18-1306). It's a new year, and a new president, so get right!

Rob Wants A High Five!

Improv Everywhere is always excellent, but there are certain times when they do nice things for the public and cause even New yorkers to crack a smile even when getting off the subway in the morning. I know!

I'm On A Boat, what are you doing?

Thank you Andy Samberg for once again broadening our imaginations with your hilarity(may not be a word). My boy PG over at It's My Blogg posted the un-edited single the other day, and after hearing that I knew this weeks SNL Digital Short was bound to be good. If you woke up in the morning with the hunger pangs for cereal, cracked open the box of wheaty goodness and out pops a free boat ride for three (Better than the new cracker jack prizes. Remember the old ones in the good ol days.), who would you take? Think about it, cause this video is simply stuntastic.

A Week in Pictures

Bacardi and Cola, they get the job done!

Goodhood + R.Newbold Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

London’s Goodhood store and R.Newbold has gotten together once again to make sweet magic. This season's collaborative collection consists of denim, shirts, backpacks and shoes. I'm really feelin' the shirt with the multi-colored plaid design. It's nice that some companies are deviating from the generic red/blue or ged/green plaid designs. It also still keeps its masculinity by not being too outrageous with the color palette. The boat shoes and backpack are so fresh with the bright red. Available at R.Newbold flagship stores.

New BAPE in February

For the glorious month of February, Bape has dropped a set of tees with two-tone color graphics. Very clean and a big departure from their all-over print and vibrantly colored shoes. I'm happy to see this company slowly growing up. The t-shirts reference the Japanese brand and their mascots (Baby Milo and the Teriyaki Source shark). All items available at Bape stores globally.

The Quest for G

Do you like Kevin Garnett? Who doesn't. Think Derek Jeter is cute? I know I do, no homo. Would you like Misty May-Treanor to have her way with you? I know I would! Anyways that's besides the point. Watch some of your favorite athletes in a bad Monty Pithon parody, titled "The Quest for G"; yes, like those annoying and uninformative Gatorade commercials. "What is G? G is the heart, hustle and soul of the game!" Thanks for the narration Weezy.

Phenomenon Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

Not sure if I'm big on the Kung-Fu Tuxedo Jacket with matching shorts, but keep a look out for that bow tie necklace. That ish is the hotness. The pieces are now available at choiceisyours.jp.

Wu-Tang Clan + Gabriel Urist

I think its a good deviation from the Wu-wear. May I say it can even be called classy. The earrings are made of 925 silver and of course the earrings feature the iconic Wu-Tang ‘W’. As an extra bonus, the earrings with a special red box. These bad boys are selling for a suggested retail price of ¥10,800 JPY (approximately $121 USD). Pick them up over at essense.
